Mark Fenwick

Mark Fenwick is President and founder of Fenwick Iribarren Architects, a leading Madrid-based firm now part of Egis. With 35 years of experience, FIA has grown to be one of Spain’s largest firms, known for iconic national and international projects. In the last 20 years, they have specialised in sports architecture, designing over 50 stadiums. Among its key achievements is a "Hat Trick" at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, including Stadium 974, the first fully demountable stadium built with containers. Mark co-authored UEFA’s “Guide to Quality Stadiums” and “Sustainable Infrastructure Guidelines.” A regular speaker at global conferences, he continues to innovate in sports architecture, always driven by new challenges around the world.
